The Rijksmuseum offers the following description of this print: (transl.) “The apostle Paul with a sword and an open book, standing in a niche. Condition: a strong and well-printed (near faultless) early/lifetime impression (based on the quality of line with no sign of wear to the printing plate) trimmed around the platemark and laid upon a support of archival (millennium quality) washi paper providing wide margins. Beyond a minor rounding of the lower right corner, the sheet is in an excellent condition for its considerable age with no significant stains.

I am selling this sensitively executed and very beautiful title plate showing St Paul holding the Bible open revealing different passages on two pages—(left page) 1 Corinthians 3:10–11; (right page) Acts of the Apostles 20:26–27—and framed by roundels featuring the names of the key gospels and the relevant saint’s attributes, for AU$272 in total (currently US$186.14/EUR167.55/GBP139.46 at the time of posting this print) including Express Mail (EMS) postage and handling to anywhere in the world, but not (of course) any import duties/taxes imposed by some countries. Note that payment is in Australian dollars (AU$272) as this is my currency.
