Condition:
well-inked superb impression with a fine layer of plate tone, pencil signed,
with generous margins and in good condition (i.e. there are no tears, stains,
folds, creases or foxing). There is pale toning surrounding the image from past
mounting (recto).

For me this was
a curious image. I simply couldn't understand why the poor wayfarer was huddled
under his coat. Fortunately this quandary was soon dispelled once I discovered
that the original title "explained" his actions: "Voyager
Surprised by the Storm (The North Wind)"—the chap was sheltering from the
freezing wind!
