Note: There is very little information
available about this clearly overlooked artist despite his amazing skill and
even the dates of his birth and death are not documented. For those interested

Condition: an exceptionally large and faultless
proof-state drypoint, signed in pencil by artist and titled. The sheet is in
excellent/near pristine condition (i.e. there are no tears, holes, folds,
abrasions, significant stains or foxing) with wide margins.
I am selling this exceptionally rare drypoint—so
rare that I have been unable to find another impression in any museum repository—and
a print that exemplifies the spirit of romanticism and symbolism of the late
nineteenth century for the total cost of AU$376 (currently US$267.54/EUR278.80/GBP249.85
at the time of this listing) including postage and handling to anywhere in the
world (but not, of course, any import duties/taxes imposed by some countries).
