The British Museum offers the following description of this print:
“Portrait of a woman, after a bas-relief by Mino da Fiesole; bust-length, in profile to left, her right hand clutching a large gold chain hanging around her neck; hair braided and tied with ribbon, headdress adorned with pearls, and cloak lined with frieze of alternating suns, Cs and stirrups”

Condition: well-printed faultless impression in near pristine condition (i.e. there are no tears, holes, folds, abrasions, stains, foxing or signs of handling) with full margins as published.

I am selling this sublimely delicate etching by Le Rat—one of the better known of the nineteenth century reproductive printmakers exemplified by this translation of a bas-relief sculpture into fine lines—for the total cost of AU$180 (currently US$123.47/EUR110.49/GBP95.05 at the time of this listing) including postage and handling to anywhere in the world (but not, of course, any import duties/taxes imposed by some countries).

If you are interested in purchasing this masterwork of 19th century etching executed with remarkable sensitivity—note the hand drawn horizonal lines in the background that are finer than a hair in thickness—please contact me (oz_jim@printsandprinciples.com) and I will send you a PayPal invoice to make the payment easy.
