I
am selling this fascinating etching in which I see a putto rowing a raft
ladened with a huge wine barrel with tiny birds perched on top that is being
intercepted by two villainous looking figures—gnomes?—in the riverbank’s
shadows who are attempting to dislodge the barrel by pulling on a grapevine
stretched over the watercourse, for the total price of AU$210 (currently US$143.97/EUR130.52/GBP112.47
at the time of posting this print) including postage and handling to anywhere
in the world (but not, of course, any import duties/taxes imposed by some
countries).
