Karl Köpping (aka Carl Köpping; Charles Koepping) (1848–1914)

“Smiling Young Woman Holding a Large Flower Vase” (descriptive title only), 1910, published in “Die Graphischen Künste” in 1915, before lettering with the publishing details of Verlag der Gesellschaft für vervielfältiges Kunst in Vienna.

Etching and drypoint with aquatint on fine cream-coloured wove paper with margins as published.
Size: (sheet) 31.3 x 23.8 cm; (plate) 26.9 x 18.2 cm; (image borderline) 23.8 x 17.1 cm.

The British Museum offers the following description of this print:
“half-length portrait of a smiling woman holding up a flower vase."
