Adolphe Appian (1818–1898)
“Entrée du Village d’Artemare (Ain)” (aka “Falu Vége”), 1880, plate 8 to the volume of 124 plates showcasing four years of “L'Eau-Forte” (1878-81) published by Alfred Cadart (aka Veuve Cadart; Célonie Sophie [Veuve] Cadart) (1828–1875) in Paris in 1881 (see the description of the frontispiece to this publication at the British Museum:

Etching and drypoint with pale plate tone on cream
laid paper with wide margins.

Condition: a richly inked and faultless
museum-quality impression in near pristine condition (i.e. there are no tears,
holes, folds, losses, abrasions, stains, foxing and only minor signs of
handling) with generously wide margins.
I am selling this exceptionally beautiful and poetically
evocative print, for the total cost of AU$337 (currently US$241.80/EUR204.23/GBP184.69
at the time of this listing) including Express Mail (EMS) postage and handling
to anywhere in the world, but not (of course) any import duties/taxes imposed
by some countries.
