I am selling
this beautiful engraving showing the personification of night symbolised by the
Roman god of night, Nox—interestingly, Nox is usually a shown as goddess rather
than a god, but this chap does sport an interesting array of breasts and a
curious hand gesture—resting on clouds accompanied by bats with stars beyond
and with the representation of evening activities in the early 1600s, for the
total cost of AU$312 (currently US$206.49/EUR201.76/GBP176.13 at the time of
this listing) including postage and handling to anywhere in the world, but not
(of course) any import duties/taxes imposed by some countries.
