name at lower right in 1907 in the “Gazette des Beaux-
Arts”, facing page 260 (see L'Estampe Originale [Biblio]: https://www.biblio.com/art-print/femme-nue-couchee-tournee-gauche-1st/d/1411763263).
Etching (possibly soft ground?) on fine cream wove (Japan?) paper with
full margins as published.
Size: (sheet) 19.4 x 25.3 cm; (plate) 13.8 x 19.7 cm.
Inscribed in plate at lower right: “Renoir”.
State ii (of ii), lifetime impression with the addition of the
artist’s name (“Renoir”) as published in the “Gazette des Beaux- Arts”.

The British Museum offers the
following description of this print: “whole-length female nude lying on bed,
her head on cushions at left, her body turned to front. 1906” (https://www.britishmuseum.org/collection/object/P_1949-0411-2659).
Condition: a strong and well-printed (near faultless) impression with wide
margins in almost pristine condition with no tears, holes, folds, abrasions,
significant stains, foxing or signs of handling.
I am selling this original lifetime impression of Renoir’s etching as
published in the “Gazette des Beaux- Arts” (1807), for AU$668 in total
(currently US$448.87/EUR425.49/GBP375.25 at the time of posting this listing)
including postage and handling to anywhere in the world, but not (of course)
any import duties/taxes imposed by some countries.
