The Rijksmuseum and the Baltimore Museum of Art offer descriptions of this print:  http://hdl.handle.net/10934/RM0001.COLLECT.103094; https://collection.artbma.org/objects/5300/landscape-with-cattle-and-approaching-storm.

See also the description of this print before the artist’s signature and date are inscribed: https://collection.artbma.org/objects/71698/cattle-by-a-stream#.

Condition: a richly inked and well-printed impression with generously wide margins in near pristine condition with no tears, holes, folds, abrasions, stains, foxing or signs of handling.

I am selling this poetically beautiful etching of a nineteenth century rural scene featuring cows beside a stream with light sparkling on trees before a storm, for the total cost of AU$239 (currently US$159.75/EUR144.54/GBP127.24 at the time of this listing) including postage and handling to anywhere in the world, but not (of course) any import duties/taxes imposed by some countries.

If you are interested in purchasing this marvellous etching that (to my eyes) captures the spirit of the time in which it was executed—viz. a fascination with the effects of light on surfaces (Impressionism); a love of rural subject matter (Barbizon School); a free use of the etching needle (Etching Revival)—please contact me (oz_jim@printsandprinciples.com) and I will send you a PayPal invoice to make the payment easy.
