“Figures near a Boat in a Stream” (descriptive title only), 1880, pencil-signed etching on cream wove (Japanese?) paper, trimmed with a small margin around the image borderline and backed with a support sheet providing wide margins.

Size: (sheet) 18.1. x 15.7 cm; (image borderline) 16.4 x 14.1 cm.

Condition: a strong and well-printed (near faultless) impression, trimmed with a small margin around the image borderline and laid onto a support of archival (millennium quality) washi paper providing wide margins. The sheet is in an excellent condition with no tears, holes, folds or significant stains.

I am selling this visually engaging etching of a rural scene showing what may be three workmen loading a barge with timber—based on the loosely piled logs near them—by an artist who (sadly) history has largely forgotten, for a total cost of AU$222 (currently/approximately US$144.83/EUR134.05/113.23 at the time of posting this listing) including Express Mail (EMS) postage and handling to anywhere in the world, but not (of course) any import duties/taxes imposed by some countries. Note that payment is in Australian dollars (AU$222) as this is my currency.
