I am selling
this extraordinary etching translating Rubens’ famous painting into insightfully
inscribed lines capturing the spirit of the portrayed woman—thought to be the
older sister of Rubens' future second wife—for AU$198 in total (currently US$131.71/EUR122.11/GBP101.58
at the time of posting this listing) including Express Mail (EMS) postage and
handling to anywhere in the world, but not (of course) any import duties/taxes
imposed by some countries. Note that payment is in Australian dollars (AU$198) as
this is my currency.
If you are
interested in purchasing this visually engaging portrait of a lightly smiling beautiful
woman of ample bosom wearing a generously wide brimmed hat—leaving aside the
question that the title proposes that this is a straw hat (“Chapeau de Paille”),
my eye is drawn to the marvellous torrent-like flow of feathers somewhat in the
manner of Leonardo’s deluge drawings (see https://www.rct.uk/collection/912377/a-deluge)—
please contact me (oz_jim@printsandprinciples.com) and I will send you a PayPal
invoice to make the payment easy.
